Adam Ludwig Freiherr von Hartig , from 1719 Count von Hartig , (born October 3, 1710 ; † December 12, 1736 in Gießhübel ), Lord of Gießhübel, Neudek , Schöbernitz and Priesnitz, was a Bohemian nobleman , landowner and kk chamberlain .

Life

He was the eldest son of Count Ludwig Joseph von Hartig (1685–1735) and Maria Theresia Freiin Putz von Adlerthurn (1686–1731), daughter of Johann Marcus Maximilian Freiherr Putz von Adlersthurn. The marriage had 2 sons and 5 daughters. His father received on July 30, 1711 in Vienna the Bohemian confirmation of the old gentry and was elevated to the Bohemian count status on February 20, 1719 as an assessor of land rights in the Kingdom of Bohemia with an improvement in the coat of arms.

According to his parents' will, he inherited the Gießhübel, Neudek, Schöbernitz and Priesnitz lords from his late father in 1735. Ludwig Joseph von Hartig bought the goods on April 14, 1734 from Count Franz Joseph Czernin von Chudenitz for 462,000 florins and had them entered on the Bohemian land table on July 6, 1734. The sales negotiations may dragged on until 1734. Adam Ludwig von Hartig died in 1736 at the age of 23 after two years of reign on Gießhübel of the Blattern. A short time before he had married Countess Maria Theresa Kager von Globen (1716–1759). His body was transferred to Neudek and buried in the parish church of St. Martin in front of the large altar.

The goods received his only son Ludwig Johann Nepomuk Maria Graf von Hartig (1736-1813). Since he was still underage, a guardianship government was set up, which until 1758 his mother Maria Theresia Countess von Hartig with her sister-in-law Maria Karolina Countess von Kokorzowa, née. Countess von Hartig shared. Further guardians were: Hubert Graf von Hartig, Karl Felix Graf von Werschowetz, Franz Graf von Buquoi and Adam Franz Graf von Hartig . In 1794 Ludwig Johann von Hartig had Gießhübel and Neudek foreclosed due to excessive indebtedness. Johann Joseph Graf Stiebar von Buttenheim became the new owner.
