Adam White (born November 8, 1989 in Everton Park ) is an Australian national volleyball player .

Career

White began his career at the age of 16 when he was selected by a talent program. He received a scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra and was the captain of the youth team.

In 2008 he made his debut for the senior national team . In the same year, the outside attacker received his first professional contract with the Swedish club Linköpings Volleyboll Club. A year later he moved to the Dutch first division club Orion Doetinchem . In 2010 he took part in the World Cup with Australia . With Doetinchem he won the Dutch championship in 2012. Then White played with the national team at the Olympic Games in London , which ended for Australia after the preliminary round. In the 2012/13 season he reached the playoff semi-finals of the German Bundesliga with TV Bühl . In 2013 he was named Australia's Volleyball Player of the Year. From 2013 to 2015 he was active in the Italian league at Bluvolley Verona . In 2014 in Poland he played his second World Cup, this time the Australians made it to the second round. In 2015 he went to the French first division team Tours Volley-Ball . He won the CEV Cup with the French in the 2016/17 season . Then White was hired by the German champion Berlin Recycling Volleys . With the club he reached the quarter-finals of the DVV Cup in the 2017/18 season and became German champion . In the following season, in addition to making it to the semi-finals, he defended his title in the Bundesliga . Then he switched back to the Dutch master Orion Doetinchem .
