Adi Sprinkart

Adi Sprinkart (born May 6, 1953 in Niedersonthofen ; † May 3, 2013 in Waltenhofen ) was a German politician . He was the Bavarian state politician from Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen .

After Sprinkart had obtained secondary school leaving certificate , he began training as an industrial clerk . He then obtained the technical diploma and studied social pedagogy . Adi Sprinkart ran an organic farm in the hamlet of Gopprechts and was an agricultural consultant. He was married and had two children.

Since 1984 he was a member of the Greens. Since 1990 he has been a member of the Oberallgäu district council . Since 1997 Adi Sprinkart has been a member of the Bavarian state parliament . Initially, he was a member of the Public Service Committee, of which he was a member until his death. He was also elected a member of the tourism policy committee. In 2003 the organic farmer was elected deputy chairman of the committee for agriculture and forestry by the state parliament. He was the tourism policy spokesman for his group.

In the state elections in 2008 he entered the constituency Lindau, Sonthofen unsuccessfully , but was re-elected via the Swabian district list.

Sprinkart committed suicide a few days before his 60th birthday on his farm in the Allgäu.
