Admiral Basketball Bundesliga 2009/10

The 2009/10 ABL season is the 64th season of the “ Admiral Basketball Bundesliga ”.

• The champions of the 2009/10 season were Allianz Swans Gmunden .
• Allianz Swans Gmunden were the cup winners of the 2009/10 season in the final against Kapfenberg Bulls (basketball) .

Game mode 2009/10

Twelve teams took part in the “Admiral Basketball Bundesliga” in 2009/10. In the basic round there are 22 rounds on the game board. The first six teams qualify for the main round (H1), in which all results achieved up to then are "taken".

In the main round, ten rounds are played. The six teams of the H1 are firmly qualified for the quarter-finals, in addition, the first two of the H2 qualify for the quarter-finals. In the quarter-finals, the first of the H1 will play against the second of the H2, the second of the H1 against the first of the H2, the third of the H1 against the sixth of the H1 and the fourth of the H1 against the fifth of the H1. ( Best-of-five each ) The semi-finals and the final are also played best-of-five.
