Austrian Basketball Bundesliga 2007/08

The 2007/08 ÖBL season was the 62nd season of the Admiral Basketball Bundesliga .

Season Notes

BSC Raiffeisen Fürstenfeld Panthers was the champion of the 2007/08 season .

Allianz Swans Gmunden was the cup winner of the 2007/08 season in the final against BSC Raiffeisen Panthers Fürstenfeld .

UKJ St. Pölten went bankrupt in the 2007/08 season and was re-established under the name UBC St. Pölten.

Game mode 2007/08

In 2007/08, 12 teams took part in the Austrian Basketball Bundesliga. In the basic round there are 22 rounds on the game board. The first eight teams qualify for the main round (H1), in which all results achieved up to then are "taken".

In the main round there are 14 rounds. The first and the second after the H1 are firmly qualified for the semifinals. Four other teams determine in the best-of-five mode, the third against the sixth placed and the fourth against the fifth placed, the other two semi-final participants. The semi-finals and the final are also played best-of-five.
