The 2014/15 ABL season was the 69th season of the Admiral Basketball Bundesliga .
Game mode 2014/15
Ten teams took part in the Admiral Basketball Bundesliga (ABL) in 2014/15. In the basic round, two rounds were played back and forth, making 36 games for each team (September 25, 2014 to April 22, 2015). The first eight teams of the regular season were qualified for the play-off. All rounds were played in best-of-five mode. The quarter-finals started on April 26th, the semi-finals on May 10th, and the final series on May 25th. The better seeded team had the home advantage in encounters 1, 2 and 5 (if necessary), the worse seeded team in encounters 3 and 4 (if necessary). The champion of the season was determined by June 7th at the latest. For the ninth place in the ABL, the championship was over after the GD, the tenth placed had to go to relegation and fought with the champions of the second division to stay in the ABL.

The field of participants has been reduced from 11 to 10 teams compared to the previous season . The UBC St. Pölten was relegated to the 2nd basketball league. As a result, the following ten teams took part in the ABL:

The two relegation games between the tenth of the Admiral Basketball Bundesliga (UBSC Graz) and the champions of the 2nd Bundesliga (Vienna Timberwolves) were played on May 1st and May 3rd, 2015.
