Game mode 2006/07
In 2006/07 12 teams took part in the Austrian Basketball Bundesliga. In the basic round there are 22 rounds on the game board. The first eight teams qualify for the main round (H1), in which all results achieved up to then are "taken".
The rest of them play together with the best three teams in the second division for the first four places, which means promotion to the Bundesliga or relegation.
In the main round there are 14 rounds. The first and the second after the H1 are firmly qualified for the semifinals. Four other teams determine in the best-of-five mode, the third against the sixth placed and the fourth against the fifth placed, the other two semi-final participants. The semi-finals and the final are also played best-of-five.
