Adolf August Hermann von Buchwald

Adolf August Hermann von Buchwald (born October 9, 1845 in Lehsen , † January 9, 1913 in Leipzig ) was a Senate President at the Imperial Court .

Life

He was the son of a landowner and attended the Fridericianum in Schwerin until 1865. During this time he worked for Karl Bartsch for his collection of legends and fairy tales. He studied in Heidelberg . In 1869 the Mecklenburg resident was sworn in and came to the Schwerin office as an auditor. In 1871 he passed his judge's exam and the next year he came to the office in Hagenow . In 1874 he came to the Schwerin law office as a laborer . In 1875 he became legal advisor in the law firm either in Güstrow or Schwerin, and in 1879 district court director. In 1888, at the age of 43, he came to the imperial court. In 1902 he was appointed President of the Senate at the suggestion of the Reich Justice Office. For many years he was in the III. Civil Senate active. In 1912 he was honored as a real privy councilor with the title of excellence. In the same year he retired.
