The Rimberg ring wall system is a disused ring wall system on the 498 m high Rimberg near Caldern , municipality of Lahntal , west of Marburg in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district . The remains of the complex were discovered in 1974 on the boundary between Damshausen and Caldern and probably date from the late Hallstatt period to the La Tène period . The facility has an area of ​​approximately 160 m × 130 m.
