The Lützelburg is the rest of a spur castle at 320  m above sea level. NN in the municipality of Münchhausen in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district in Hesse .

The remains of the complex are located on a wooded, roughly triangular mountain cone in front of the Christenberg to the northwest. It is a flat, slightly sloping mountain plateau to the west with a surrounding, pronounced edge.

Only the remains of a wall and moat system have survived from the castle .

Judging by the ceramic finds, the complex was a prehistoric ring wall from the later Hallstatt period , probably a predecessor of the early Celtic complex of the Christian Mountain.

It has not been proven that the remains of the trench wall system were still in use in the early Middle Ages .
