Adolf Haeser

Adolf Häser (born October 3, 1903 in Kassel ; † unknown) was a German Gestapo officer and SS leader.

Life

After finishing school, Häser embarked on the career of a police officer. From November 1924 he worked for the Thuringian State Police and was taken over there in November 1936 as police chief guard for life in the police service. From the beginning of August 1937 he worked as a senior detective assistant at the Weimar criminal police and was promoted to the position of detective secretary there in early February 1940. At the beginning of 1944 he moved to the state police station in Weimar, where he was appointed detective inspector and SS-Hauptsturmführer. From May 1944 to April 1945 he was in charge of the Nordhausen and Niedersachswerfen branch offices of the Weimar state police station.

In this function, Häser was authorized to directly impose penalties on inmates of the Mittelbau-Dora concentration camp and staff of Mittelwerk GmbH or construction companies working on them, with the exception of long prison sentences or death sentences, which had to be confirmed by the Weimar police station or the Reich Main Security Office .

After the end of the Second World War , Häser was arrested in Gardelegen on March 16, 1947 and was interned in the Soviet Union. He was before the district court Magdeburg accused and on 26 August 1948, twenty years prison sentenced. After his early release on March 16, 1956, he moved to the Federal Republic and was then employed as a commercial clerk in Bayreuth .

Häser was questioned several times by the Federal German judiciary in the 1960s.
