Adolf von Nassau (District Administrator)

Adolf Carl Paul von Nassau (born March 27, 1889 in Stettin ; † December 21, 1961 in Wittmund ) was a German administrative lawyer and district administrator in the Lebus (1933–1937) and Wittmund (1937–1945) districts.

Adolf von Nassau was born in Stettin as the son of the cigar manufacturer Christoph von Nassau and his wife Emma, ​​nee Fingerling.

From 1923 he was employed as a court assessor at various Berlin courts. He worked as a lawyer and notary from 1924 to 1930 .

After the Second World War , Nassau lived in Wittmund, where he suddenly died of a heart attack at a Christmas party in the city's hospital .
