Adolfo Abdiel Machado (born February 14, 1985 in Panama City ) is a Panamanian football player . The defender is a Panamanian national player .
Career
society
He started his career in 2004 with Alianza FC . In 2009 he went to Guatemala to join Deportivo Marquense . From 2010 to 2011 he played in Honduras for the CD Marathón . He then returned to Guatemala for the CSD Comunicaciones , with which he won the national championship, the Apertura 2011. However, at the end of the season, like his two teammates Marvin Ceballos and Fredy Thompson, he tested positive for boldenone during a doping control and was banned for two years. After his suspension, Machado switched to CD Saprissa , with which he won the Costa Rican championships Verano 2014, Invierno 2014 and Invierno 2015. In the CONCACAF Champions League 2014/15 he reached the quarter-finals with Saprissa, in which they lost to the eventual tournament winners Club America . In May 2015 Machado was named the best foreign player 2014/15 in Costa Rica.
National team
Machado was appointed to the Panamanian national team for the first time in 2008, with which he won the UNCAF Nations Cup in 2009 . At the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2011 Panama reached the semi-finals and at the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2015 Panama came third.
