Adolph Gottlieb Ferdinand Schoder (born December 2, 1817 in Stuttgart , † November 12, 1852 there ) was a German politician .

Schoder studied law at the University of Tübingen from 1835 to 1838 . In Tübingen he became a member of the only briefly existing student union Giovannia Tübingen in 1835 , and in 1837 he was a co-founder of the resurrected fraternity Germania Tübingen . After completing his studies, he worked on courts in Esslingen am Neckar , Ludwigsburg , Tübingen and Stuttgart. In 1845 he became a councilor in the Württemberg Ministry of the Interior.

In 1848 he was elected a member of the Württemberg Chamber of Deputies, where he belonged to the opposition. From May 18, 1848 to June 18, 1849 he was a member of the National Assembly for Besigheim in Frankfurt . He was a member of several committees in the Paulskirche , including the finance committee and the emperor's deputation . From June 8 to June 18, 1849 he served as the first vice-president of the National Assembly, which had shrunk to a rump parliament . Adolph Schoder was a founding member of the Westendhall parliamentary group .

In 1849 he voluntarily resigned from the civil service and worked as a lawyer in Stuttgart until his death . As president, he presided over the state assemblies that were revising the constitution. In 1851 he was charged with disobedience to the government , but acquitted. In 1909 the Schoderstrasse in Stuttgart-Nord was named after Adolph Schoder.
