Adolph Hinrich Voeg

Adolph H (e) inrich Voeg , Jur. Cons., (Born April 22, 1766 in Lübeck ; † April 14, 1833 there ) was mayor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Voeg was the son of Lübeck councilor Hermann Heinrich Voeg . He studied law at the University of Jena from 1784 to 1788 . From 1789 he was procurator of the lower court in Lübeck. In 1811 he gave up his admissions because he did not like the image of the French lawyer in Lübeck's French period . In 1812 he became president of the French trade tribunal in Lübeck. 1814 he was elected to the Senate and was 1817 - 33 worked in the judicial system of the city. In 1825 he was mayor of the city.
