Adrar ( Arabic أدرار, DMG Adrar , Tamazight ) is a city in Algeria and capital of the province of Adrar . The city has around 68,000 inhabitants and is located on an oasis in the Sahara . Agriculture is the main activity in Adrar.

Ten kilometers from the city there is the Touat-Cheikh-Sidi-Mohamed-Belkebir airport, which mainly serves the Air Algérie .
