Adrienne Fazan

Adrienne Fazan (born May 9, 1906 in Los Angeles , California , † August 23, 1986 there ) was an American film editor .

Life

After Adrienne Fazan was responsible for editing the drama Day of Reckoning for the first time in 1933, she was responsible for editing countless short films from 1939 to 1944, including Prophet Without Honor , More About Nostradamus and No News Is Good News . Then she got the chance to cut movies like You should be my lucky star , Damn them all and Two Weeks in Another City . She received an Oscar nomination for An American in Paris (1951) and an award for Best Film Editing for Gigi (1958) . After Anne Bauchens and Barbara McLean, she was only the third woman to win the cut Oscar.

Her career ended in 1970 with shooting at midnight . She had been involved in around 80 productions.
