The Ofenbach , also called Aflingerbach and in the upper reaches Tötzelbach , is a 2.7 kilometer long left tributary of the Kainach in Styria . Its course forms the border between the municipality of Kainach near Voitsberg and the municipality of Bärnbach .

The Ofenbach arises as Tötzelbach in the southeastern part of the municipality of Kainach near Voitsberg , in the southeastern part of the Kohlschwarz cadastral municipality , northeast of the Bocklochgraben farm, directly on the border to the northern part of the Hochtregist cadastral municipality of Bärnbach. It flows first in a left bend, then in a flat right bend and shortly before the confluence in a left bend all in all to the southwest and forms the municipality boundary between Kainach near Voitsberg and Bärnbach. Up to the confluence of the Kohlschwarzbach , the Ofenbach is also known as the Tötzelbach. Directly on the border of the cadastral communities Kohlschwarz and Bärnbach, it flows in the village of Afling about 50 meters west of the L341 into the Kainach , which turns right shortly afterwards.
On its course, the Ofenbach takes on two larger named and several small unnamed watercourses.
