Against the Dark is an American direct-to-video - Horror from 2009 with Steven Seagal in the lead role.
action
A terrible virus that turns people into brutal vampires breaks out in a small town in the United States. The military has the entire city cordoned off, but there is daily news of survivors who are still in the city. Commander Tao, a master swordsman , is sent inside the city with a small team of ex-elite soldiers to rescue all survivors before the military destroys the entire city. A small group of survivors are hiding in a hospital waiting for the military to send help. When Tao can finally fight his way through to the survivors, he tries by all means to get the survivors out of the hospital. Eventually Tao manages to escape the hospital with some of the survivors before it is destroyed by the military. In the end, the last three survivors drive to the military base, while Tao and Tagart make their way back to the city to continue hunting.

The Lexicon of International Films writes: “A military experiment turns the dead into vampires who act like zombies. A bunch of upright hunters take on a bloody fight, while the military is concerned about wiping out the entire region right away. Largely in the dark, off the peg horror film in which action hero Steven Seagel is allowed to compete against an unearthly threat for the first time. "
