Agamede (daughter of Augeias)
Agamede ( ancient Greek Ἀγαμήδη ) is the daughter of Augeias in Greek mythology .
In Homer it is called the eldest daughter of Augeias. She is the wife of the young Nestor in the war between Epeiern and Pylos , Nestor's home, killed Mulios - an event that before the Trojan War took place. She had blonde hair and was familiar with all medicinal herbs, which is why Eustathios of Thessalonica regards her as a second Medea . In Hyginus Mythographus , she is the mother of Neptunus' three sons of Belos (possibly Beleus , son of Poseidon is meant), actor and dictys .
Theokritos names the magical Medeia and Kirke as well as a blonde Perimede , who is probably identical with Agamede.
