Agnieszka Grochowska
Agnieszka Grochowska (born December 31, 1979 in Warsaw ) is a Polish actress.
Life
Agnieszka Grochowska studied acting at the Akademia Teatralna Warsaw and graduated in 2002. After completing her studies, she became a member of the Studio Theater in Warsaw, where she was honored for the best debut of the season in her first season for the role of Constanze in Peter Shaffer's Amadeus at the side of Zbigniew Zapasiewicz . In the same year she made her film debut directed by her future husband Dariusz Gajewski , whom she married in July 2004. In 2005 she was nominated for the Polish Film Prize and the European Film Prize for the lead role in the film Pręgi . At the Berlinale 2007 she was awarded the European Shooting Star film prize.
Agnieszka Grochowska speaks fluent German and has already played in two German cinema productions. First, in 2004 in the way of Jan. Kruger and 2005 the female lead alongside Sebastian Urzendowsky in Take Your Life by Sabine Michel . As a student, Agnieszka Grochowska played Juliet Capulet in a co-production of the Warsaw Theater Academy with the Uckermärkische Bühnen Schwedt of Shakespeare's “Romeo and Juliet” (directed by Reinhard Simon).
