Ahmet Melih Ulueren

Ahmet Melih Ulueren (born November 14, 1955 in Izmir ) is a Turkish diplomat .

Life

Ulueren studied International Relations at Ankara University in 1979 . He joined the foreign service and research assistant in the international organizations department from 1980 to 1982. He was vice consul in Karachi and Nuremberg , he was first class legation secretary in Addis Ababa and Tokyo and second class at the Holy See and in Baghdad . He was also a member of the First Class Legation Council in Bangkok and Prague . From 1982 to 1983 he was head of the Multilateral Economic Institutes department. From 1987 to 1988 he was second class legation secretary in the consular department, first class in the department, from September 1994 to September 1996, environmental protection. He headed the Environment Agency department from July 1999 to September 2001. He often represented the Turkish government at climate conferences. He was also a representative at climate conferences of the United Nations and the OECD. He was head of the immigrant department from 2005 to 2008 and headed the migration department from 2008 to February 2010. From March 1, 2010 to September 2, 2010 he was ambassador to Kampala . He was then employed in Ankara.
