Ahtyba Roy Rubin ([ ɑːtɑːbə_ Rubin ] * 25. July 1986 in Fort Belvoir , Virginia ) is an American American football poker players. His last position was as defensive tackle for the Oakland Raiders in the National Football League (NFL).
NFL
Cleveland Browns
Rubin was selected as the 190th player in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns and signed a four-year contract on July 22, 2008.
In 2008 and 2009, he was the substitute for Brown's Nose Tackle Shaun Rogers before becoming a starter for Rodgers after an injury . He kept this role even after Rodgers recovered, as he moved to the position of defensive end after the Browns gave Corey Williams to the Detroit Lions .
Seattle Seahawks
On March 19, 2015, Rubin signed a one-year contract with the Seattle Seahawks . After Tony McDaniel's dismissal during the off-season , he was given the starting position. On March 7, 2016, his contract with the Seahawks was renewed for three years. On September 2, 2017, he was dismissed as part of the squad reduction to 53 players.
Denver Broncos
On September 15, 2017, the Denver Broncos signed Rubin. He got a one-year contract. However, on October 17, he was released.
Atlanta Falcons
On October 19, 2017, he signed a contract with the Atlanta Falcons.
Oakland Raiders
In June 2018, Rubin was signed by the Oakland Raiders. In preparation he tore a hamstring and had to be put on the injured reserve list . As a result, he missed the entire season.
