Aichi Tokei Denki
The company Aichi Tokei Denki KK ( Japanese 愛 知 時 計 電機 株式会社 , Aichi tokei denki kabushiki kaisha , German Aichi watch and electricity company ) was a Japanese aircraft manufacturer . The company was founded in Nagoya in 1898 . From 1920 the production of airplanes took place with the help of the Heinkel works . From 1932 the company began to manufacture its own aircraft , especially for the Japanese naval air force . In February 1943 , the company specializing in aircraft as Aichi Kōkūki KK ( 愛 知 航空 機 株式会社 , Aichi Kōkūki kabushiki kaisha ) was spun off from the Aichi Kikai Kōgyō group .

After the Second World War , aircraft construction was discontinued. Today Aichi Tokei Denki is a manufacturer of precision and measuring instruments. The successor to Aichi Kōkūki , the company Aichi Kikai Kōgyō KK (English Aichi Machine Industry Co., Ltd ), mainly deals with the production of automotive components and entire vehicles for Nissan .
