Air Antwerp was founded on May 13, 2019. In July 2019, the first aircraft was taken over with a 30-year-old Fokker 50 (OO-VLS) . On August 9, 2019, Air Antwerp confirmed the receipt of the Air Operator Certificate (AOC). The first flight took place on September 9, 2019 and led to London City Airport . The route is served by code sharing with KLM.
