Air China Cargo is a Chinese cargo airline based in Beijing and based at Beijing Airport . It is a subsidiary of Air China .

history

The airline was founded on December 12, 2003 and began operations a short time later. In May 2011 the owners decided to expand Air China Cargo due to the restructuring of their cargo business. In 2013 around 4,000 people were employed.

Air China Cargo not only transports air freight with its own freighters, but also has the sole right of use for the freight compartments of all Air China passenger aircraft , so that areas of the freight compartment that are not occupied by passenger luggage can be filled with air freight.

Ownership

The airline is 51% owned by Air China, 25% by Cathay Pacific and 24% owned by Beijing Airport .

Destinations

In the German-speaking area , there are currently only flights to Frankfurt am Main , a connection to Hahn was established in 2014 and discontinued after just three months. It will be Europe uses other objects, including the Zaragoza airport in Spain .
