Aitch (born December 9, 1999 in Manchester ; real name Harrison Armstrong ) is a British rapper. Since 2019 he has been successful mainly in his home country.

biography

Harrison Armstrong occasionally began performing as a freestyle rapper during his school days, drawing the labels' attention to himself. His rapper name Aitch is the pronunciation of his name's initial H. He signed with Northern Quarterz Entertainment and released his first EP On Your Marks in 2017 . The following year he had his first hit with the track Straight Rhymez with over 12 million views. This brought him the attention of BBC radio DJ Kenny Allstar and requests for a collaboration from established rappers like Skepta , Wiley and Stormzy . He was involved in remix versions of top hits such as Take Me Back from London by Ed Sheeran and Keisha & Becky by Russ & Tion Wayne and together with Jaykae he entered the UK charts for the first time in May 2019 . In Strike a Pose by Young T & Bugsey he was involved in the top-10 hit.

In August he released his own track Taste (Make It Shake) as a pre-single for his second album . It reached number 2 on the charts and was platinum with views over 25 million. The album Aitch2O entered the album charts at number 3. With Buss Down it contained another top 10 single. The success earned him a nomination for Best New Artist at the Brit Awards 2020 and the award as Rising Star at the Global Awards of the British radio stations.

In early 2020, collaborations with Digdat at Ei8ght Mile and with AJ Tracey and Tay Keith at Rain brought Aitch into the top 10 two more times. Rain was also included in his third album Polaris , which was released in June 2020 and reached number 7.
