The Aix (in the upper reaches: Font d'Aix ) is a river in France that runs in the Loire department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises just outside the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park , in the municipal area of Chausseterre , generally drains in a south-easterly direction and flows into the Loire after 49 kilometers in the municipal area of Saint-Georges-de-Baroille as a left tributary .
