Ajsel Kujović (born March 1, 1986 in Bijelo Polje , Montenegro ) is a Swedish football player . The offensive player, whose brother Emir is also a soccer player, appeared several times for the Swedish U-21 team .
Career
Kujović came from Montenegro with his family at the age of six . He started playing soccer at Klippan's BoIF . From there, the offensive player moved in the spring of 2000 to the youth department of Landskrona BoIS . Here he knew how to draw attention to himself and was signed by Feyenoord Rotterdam in the summer of 2004 . After two years in the youth of the traditional Dutch club, he returned to Sweden in the summer of 2006.
Kujović joined Halmstads BK in the Allsvenskan. Here he was able to fight for a regular place in the first year and score two goals in 14 games. On November 14, 2006 Kujović made his debut in the 2: 4 defeat against the French junior national team in the Swedish U21 selection when he came on in the 63rd minute for Marcus Berg . After he was unable to establish himself permanently in the regular formation at his club in the following seasons, he was only an irregular member of the Swedish youth team.
During the 2009 season , Kujović only made nine league appearances due to injury. In November of that year, the club therefore announced that it did not want to renew its contract. As a result, the player was without a club.
After Kujovi had trained with Landskrona BoIS since autumn 2010 , he signed a contract valid until the end of the season with the second division team coached by Henrik Larsson in March of the following year. He knew how to convince here and scored seven goals by the end of the season. Nevertheless, sports director Mats Aronsson refrained from making another commitment. After remaining without a club until the end of the winter transfer period in March 2012, he joined the fifth division club Höganäs BK in mid-April . Kujovic has been playing for Varberg's BoIS in the second Swedish league, the Superettan, since 2016 .
