Akaziite (also written Akatsijte , Bulgarian Акациите ) is a smaller residential area in the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Burgas .

Akaziite is located on the Kumluka spit in the middle of the southern industrial zone. To the east is the port area and the Black Sea. In the west, the district borders on Lake Burgas with the expressway to Sozopol and Istanbul . The district is separated to the north from the city center and the Wasrashdane district by the Burgasse drain and the Burgas-Sofia railway line. Akaziite was created during the industrialization of Burgas. First dock workers and water carriers settled there, who dragged water from the freshwater springs between what is now Akacijte and Pobeda into the city center. Several factories were later set up there. The majority of the population were Bulgarian refugees from Eastern and Western Thrace ( Thracian Bulgarians ) and Macedonia ( Macedonian Bulgarians ). In 1926 the settlement was included in the regulatory plan of the city of Burgas. In the northern part of the district is the Chernomorets Stadium of FC Chernomorets Burgas and the seaman's school. In the center of the district is the carpentry and wood processing school and the small park "Akaziite".
