Dolno Eserowo
Dolno Eserowo (also written Dolno Ezerovo , Bulgarian Долно езерово , to German Lower Sea Village ) is a district of the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Burgas with about 5,000 inhabitants, about 15 km away from the city center . The district is located along the Burgas- Sofia railway line , near the LUKOIL Neftochim Burgas oil refinery north of Lake Burgas .
Eserowo was founded as a refugee camp in 1913 by Bulgarian refugees from the Balkan Wars of 1912/13 from Eastern and Western Thrace ( Thracian Bulgarians ) and Macedonia ( Macedonian Bulgarians ) and was initially called Vayakioy (derived from Lake Vaya , the old name of Lake Burgas). Only 90 families came from Örencik (near Istanbul ) in Eastern Thrace and 50 families from Kavaklı .
The first school was built in the 1930s. Next to her there is a Tschitalischte and the "Sweta Petka" chapel in the village . Another church is under construction.
In the 1970s, the Christo Botew primary school was built and opened. Up to 230 students study in the four-story building.
From November 12, 1987, the place was incorporated into the municipality of Burgas and received the status of a district.
FC Neftochimic Burgas has played its home games in the Dolno Eserowo Stadium since the 2009/2010 season . The club plays in the third Bulgarian division.
