Action Council Education
The Education Action Council is a committee of experts established in 2005 by the Association of Bavarian Economy , which seeks to "analyze and evaluate the status of the German education system and to develop proposals for policy ". The Chairman of the Action Council is currently Dieter Lenzen , President of the University of Hamburg . In addition to him, other well-known educators and social scientists are represented in the central committee.
At the same time, the Education Action Council acts as the curator of the Education Media Prize.

Education media award
The Education Action Council honors German-language journalistic work in the areas of print, radio, television and the Internet with the Education Media Prize, which is endowed with 10,000 euros.
