Rudolf Tippelt
Rudolf Tippelt (born March 12, 1951 in Munich ) is a German educational scientist and professor i. R. for general pedagogy and educational research at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München .
life and work
After an apprenticeship, he began studying in Munich, Heidelberg, London and Canterbury in 1970 , which he completed in 1977 with a master's degree in pedagogy, sociology and psychology at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1981 he received his doctorate in educational science from Volker Lenhart at the educational science institute of Heidelberg University and in 1989 his habilitation.
From 1987 to 1991 he was deputy director at the Baden-Württemberg State Institute for General Further Education in Mannheim . In 1991 he became a professor in Freiburg im Breisgau , and since 1998 in Munich, where he was temporarily dean of the faculty. From 2005 to 2010, Tippelt was chairman of the German Society for Educational Science (DGfE). He has been retired since 2016.
