Aktuell (spelling: up to date ) is a news program of the Saarländischer Rundfunk on SR television , which is broadcast daily.

history

Currently started on October 2, 1989 together with SAARTEXT in the Saarland regional window of Südwest 3 under the name "3 direkt". In the course of the ARD-wide reform of the evening program at the end of 1992, the initially inconsistent transmission times were set to the scheme that is still valid today. After the SR television became an independent television station, the name of the program changed for the main editions to "Current" and for the short editions to "Saarland Current". Since 2014, all issues have been grouped under the common name Aktuell .

Broadcast times

It is currently broadcast daily. From Monday to Friday there are five-minute short editions at 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., which interrupt the SWR broadcast of coffee or tea , and there are also quarter-hour editions at 6:00 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. At the weekend, the program includes a sports section that is presented by a presenter from the sports arena . Furthermore, from Monday to Friday, three editions of currently 100 seconds each are produced, a news summary based on the model of the daily news in 100 seconds . They are published on the Internet and placed on television between the morning programs. In the weekday editions of the current report there is a message block in which the current moderator on duty summarizes the regional reports of the day.

concept

During the Current Report focuses its reporting on the events in the Saarland and a high proportion of longer even includes productions devoted, the report concentrates on currently rather on world affairs. This includes the use of raw material that is supplied by agencies, other ARD stations or Eurovision .

production

Virtual studio from "Aktuell"

The four daily programs are produced by a fifteen-strong editorial team in the SR television building on Halberg in Saarbrücken . Contributions are cut with Adobe Premiere . The editor-in-chief is Brigitte Henkes , her deputy is Verena Bisle .

Currently the broadcast is from the same studio as the current report , in contrast to this, the dominant color in the on air design is blue instead of orange. In September 2014, both programs moved into a new virtual studio with robotic cameras.
