The Imam Al-Khoei Benevolent Foundation is an international religious foundation. The Shiite Grand Ayatollah Abulkassem al-Choei (born 1899 in Choi , Iran ; died 1992 in Kufa , Iraq , murdered), the head of the Hawza in Najaf (Iraq), established the foundation in 1989.
