Al-Mudaibi (also Al-Mudaybi) is a small town with around 5000 inhabitants in the Sultanate of Oman . Al-Mudaibi is located in the central interior of the country directly on the foothills of the Rimal Al Wahiba Desert and on the highway Route 27 . Al-Mudaibi is administratively also a Wilaya of the Shamal al-Sharqiyyah governorate . The administrative district has a size of 12,108 km² and a population of 69,377 people. The Al-Mudaibi Club plays in the Oman First Division League , the second highest division in the country.
