Al-Qabil (also Al-Kabil ) is a village with around 1,000 inhabitants in the Sultanate of Oman . Al-Qabil is located in the eastern interior directly on the foothills of the Rimal Al Wahiba Desert and on the Route 23 highway . Al-Qabil is administratively a wilaya of the Shamal al-Sharqiyya governorate . The administrative district has a size of 1632 km² and a population of 16,033 people. Al-Dariz also belongs to the village.
