The Alabama State Route 25 ( AL 25 for short ) is a state route in the US state of Alabama that runs in a north-south direction.

The State Route begins on Alabama State Route 5 near Pine Hill and ends near Rome on US Highway 411 . From Pine Hill AL 25 initially runs northwards and meets at Faunsdale the US Highway 80 . After the road has passed Greensboro and the junction with Alabama State Route 69 , it heads northeast to the greater Birmingham area , Alabama's largest city. In Centerville is US Highway 82 crossed. In the urban area of Calera , the State Route meets US Highway 31 and Interstate 65 . Between Leeds and the border with the neighboring state of Georgia , the route of the US 411 is used, whereby the AL 25 is not marked on the traffic signs. On this section, AL 25 crosses Interstates 20 and 759 .
