Alain Harel
Alain Harel (born June 24, 1950 in Quatre Bornes ) is a Mauritian priest and Vicar Apostolic of Rodrigues .
Life
Alain Harel was ordained a priest on September 3, 1978 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him on October 31, 2002 Vicar Apostolic of Rodrigues and Titular Bishop of Forconium . The episcopal ordination donated him the Bishop of Port Louis , Jean Cardinal Margéot , on December 8th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Robert Sarah , Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , and Maurice Piat CSSp , Bishop of Port-Louis . As a motto he chose you are the salt of the earth and the light of the world .
