Alain Schweingruber
Alain Schweingruber (born June 14, 1952 , resident in Wahlern and Delémont ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ).
Life
Schweingruber studied law at the University of Lausanne . He then worked for Paul Moritz .
From 1983 to 1986 he sat for the FDP in the city council of Delémont and from 1983 to 1993 and from 1998 to 2010 (2005 President of Parliament) and since 2015 in the Cantonal Council of the Canton of Jura . After the death of Pierre Etique , Schweingruber represented the canton of Jura from December 6, 1993 to December 3, 1995 in the National Council . He was not re-elected in 1995.
In 2002, Schweingruber ran unsuccessfully for the government council of the canton of Jura. In 2013 he was appointed by the government to represent the Canton of Jura in the Inter- Jurassic Assembly .
