Alastor is a Polish thrash metal band from Kutno , which was founded in 1986, disbanded in 1997 and reunited in 2002. The band played with groups such as Nasty Savage , Exumer , Living Death , Sodom , Kat , Turbo , Wolf Spider and Dragon .

history

The band was formed in 1986. After the first demo appeared in 1988, their debut album Syndroms of the Cities followed in 1989 . The sound carrier was released across Europe on the Italian label Metal Master Records . The band signed a contract with Metal Mind Productions . The band recorded the album Przeznaczenie in 1989, which became The Destiny in 1990 . However, metal Mind Productions separated from the band again before the release, so that the recordings were not released. In 1992 the demo Garage '92 - Live Session via Carnage Records followed . After a few concerts, the band took part in a band contest at a music festival in Jarocin in August 1993 . The band reached the first place. The prize was the release of an album on Loud Out Records . The album was released in 1994 under the name Zlo . In the following years the band became a quartet. In 1997 the band recorded the album Żyj, gnij i milcz without a guitarist Osiecki . After the album was released in the same year on Sound Factory Records , the band broke up.

In 2002 the band got back together. In place of Osiecki, guitarist Radosław Zwoliński was now represented in the band, who was soon to switch to E-Bsdd. Several other changes in the line-up followed. In 2009 the album Spaaazm was released on Metal Mundus Records . In early September 2012, the previously unreleased album The Destiny is expected to appear for the first time via Metal Mind Productions, in addition to a re-release of Syndroms of the Cities .

style

The band plays classic, technically demanding Thrash Metal, which is comparable to the music of the American band Wrath or Toxik .
