The Alauzène is a river in France that runs in the Gard department in the Occitanie region . It rises in the southern Cevennes , in the municipality of Bouquet , initially curves south around the Mont Bouquet (629 m), but then swings to the northwest, later to the northeast, and after around 20 kilometers it flows into the town of La Bégude , in the municipality of Allègre-les-Fumades as a right tributary into the Auzon .
