Albert Hörrmann

Albert Hörrmann , also Albert Hoerrmann (born April 22, 1899 in Munich , † July 12, 1980 in Gravenbruch ) was a German actor .

Life

He played in Berlin in the late 1920s , including at the Theater am Schiffbauerdamm . Roles were pioneer Karl in Pioneers in Ingolstadt (1929) and the man in Lampel's Wir sind Kameraden (1930). He also took part in the premiere of Brecht / Gorki's Die Mutter in 1932 in the Komödienhaus.

From 1939 to 1944 Hörrmann was engaged at the State Theater in Munich. From 1945 to 1956 he worked in Oldenburg . In the following years he was on stage at the Schauspiel Frankfurt . He played 1961 in Golls Methuselah , 1962 the carpenter in Frisch's Andorra , 1973 father Borowzow in Ostrowski's The Abyss and 1979 in Gerhart Hauptmann's Michael Kramer .

Under director Peter Palitzsch , he played, among others, Puntila in Mr. Puntila and his servant Matti (1962 in Wuppertal ), the father Max in Pinter's Homecoming (1975, Frankfurt) and Domingo in Don Carlos (1979, Frankfurt). In 1969 he portrayed the mayor of the Bad Hersfeld Festival in The Visit of the Old Lady .

Hörrmann took on various film roles since 1929 and directed Der nackte Spatz himself in 1938 . He became known to a wide audience from 1969 to 1971 through the popular television series Königlich Bayerisches Amtsgericht as " Ökonomierat Josef Fäustl, estate and brewery owner dahier".

Hoerrmann was buried in the Buchenbusch forest cemetery in Neu-Isenburg .
