Albert Stadler (officer)

Albert Stadler (born January 10, 1817 in Zurich , † December 26, 1890 in Enge ) was a Swiss colonel division .

Life

Albert Stadler was born as the son of the Zurich architect Hans Konrad Stadler and Regula. Schaufelberberger was born. From 1837 to 1839 he studied at the University of Zurich and in 1839 at the University of Tübingen Law . In Tübingen he joined the Corps Rhenania . He later joined the Corps Tigurinia founded in 1850 in Zurich . After graduating, he worked as a district court clerk in Andelfingen , and later as a business agent . From 1848 he was a federal general staff officer . From 1850 to 1867 he was an instruction officer and chief instructor. During this time he was in 1852 for Major , 1860. Lieutenant Colonel and 1863 to Colonel promoted. In 1860 Stadler commanded the 27th Infantry Brigade , the 20th Infantry Brigade in 1866 and 1870 and the 6th Division in 1870 . From 1867 to 1875 he was chief of arms in the infantry of the canton of Zurich . From 1875 to 1886 he was federal district instructor of the 5th division . He was married to Elisa Hegetschweiler since 1842 and to Anna Nötzli since 1856.
