Albert Wander

Albert Wander (born November 6, 1818 in Königsberg ; † December 22, 1893 ) was a landowner and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Wander attended grammar school in Königsberg and Tilsit and from 1842 to 1845 the War Academy in Berlin . From 1835 to 1853 he was a soldier and then a farmer on his estate in Carlberg near Tilsit. He was also district deputy, member of the district committee and from 1875 to 1881 a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Prussia and, after the division of the province in 1878, of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of East Prussia . Between 1879 and 1882 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for Tilsit-Niederung.

From 1881 to 1884 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the Reichstag constituency of Gumbinnen 1 district and the German Progressive Party .
