Albert Weggartner
Albert Weggartner (born September 21, 1905 in Pelkering , † February 20, 1979 ) was a German politician ( BP , CSU ).
Career
Weggartner attended elementary school and grammar school and then served in the Bavarian State Police from 1923 to 1927 . In 1927 he switched to the Bavarian civil service. During the Second World War he was called up several times for service at the front, appointed an officer in 1941 and finally returned home as a severely disabled person.
After the war he was appointed mayor of his home parish. In 1952, he was elected district administrator for the Upper Bavarian district of Mühldorf am Inn . From November 1950 to November 1958 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . At first he belonged to the Bavarian Party. After leaving on October 11, 1957, he joined the CSU.
