Albert Wildeman

Albert Wildeman (* around 1988 ) is a Dutch jazz and improvisation musician ( double bass ) living in the United States.

Live and act

Wildeman studied applied mathematics at the University of Twente from 2007 to 2009 ; In 2007/2008 he spent several months at the University of British Columbia . After training as a double bass player at ArtEZ hogeschool voor de kunsten , he moved to Chicago in 2011, where he completed a master's degree in neuroscience at the University of Chicago between 2013 and 2017 . He has been working (in addition to his main job as a data scientist) since the 2010s in the city's jazz and improvisation scenes with musicians such as Jeb Bishop , Dave Rempis , Matt Piet , Katherine Young , Peter A. Schmid ( Chicago Conversations , 2015), Peter Maunu , also in trio constellations with Tim Daisy and Mars Williams , Carol Genetti & Aaron Zarzutzki and with Andrew Clinkman in the duo Mypic Books .
