Albert von Enn († November 2, 1336 ) was Bishop of Brixen .

Albert von Enn came from a noble family who emigrated from the Bozener Unterland to Swabia under Meinhard II . His sister became a nun, he himself became a canon in Augsburg and studied in Bologna , after which he became provost in Freising .

In 1322 he was elected Bishop of Freising by the cathedral chapter , but received neither confirmation from the Archbishop of Salzburg, Friedrich III. von Leibnitz by Pope Johannes XXII. He went to Avignon himself to ask the Pope for his confirmation, but the latter transferred the diocese to Johann Wulfing von Schlackenwerth .

After the Bishop of Brixen Konrad von Klingenberg was appointed Bishop of Freising, the Pope awarded the diocese of Brixen to Albert von Enn on July 4, 1324. He was ordained bishop in Avignon and discharged to Brixen on December 23, 1324.

In the conflict between the Pope and King Ludwig the Bavarian , the bishop was on the side of the king. He also had good relations with the Tyrolean sovereign . Regarding the spiritual jurisdiction over the Brixen clergy, however, he came into violent conflict with his cathedral chapter.
