Alberto Puig , in Catalan Albert Puig de la Rosa , (born January 16, 1967 in Barcelona , Catalonia , Spain ) is a former Spanish motorcycle racer and today's team manager.

In 1987, Puig rose to Rieju in the 250 cc class in the motorcycle world championship . In the course of his World Championship career, he rode a Yamaha for two seasons , one for an Aprilia and seven for a Honda . In 1994 he moved to the 500cc class and was there at the Spanish Grand Prix of the year in 1995 his first and only Grand Prix victory win. In total, he was on the podium nine times. After the 1997 season, he ended his driving career.

Puig has been the manager of the Repsol Honda team in the MotoGP class since 2010 . He also works for the Red Bull MotoGP Academy . He is considered the discoverer of Casey Stoner , Dani Pedrosa and Toni Elías . He is also the manager of Dani Pedrosa.
