Albin Konrad Eine (* 1886 in Trondheim , † 1947 in Oslo ) was a Norwegian newspaper editor and politician.

Early career

One first studied typography and bookbinding in Sweden , where he joined the socialist movement of Zeth Höglund . After the workers' strike in 1909, he moved back to Norway. He took part in the trade union opposition in 1911 and was a member of the Norges Socialdemokratiske Ungdomsforbund ("The Social Democratic Youth Association of Norway") For some time he was vice-head of the youth association, but left the association in 1921 because he felt too old. In 1911 he became co-editor of the newspaper Klassekampen . He later worked as a journalist for the newspapers Vest-Finmarkens Arbeiderblad , Folkets Dagblad and Østfold Dagblad . He edited Folkets Dagblad (went under the name Nybrott before 1921 ) between 1919 and 1922. Journalist Ingjald Nordstad followed him as editor of Folkets Dagblad .

Communist activity

In 1923 one joined the Communist Party . For a short while he edited the communist newspaper Ny Tid . He was a delegate at the Fifth World Congress of the Communist International . In the spring of 1927, one became the editor of Norges Kommunistblad , the official newspaper of the Communist Party. However , he was absent from the newspaper in the summer of 1927 because of pre- trial detention . In the autumn of 1927 he began to edit Norges Kommunistblad again before Christian Hilt followed him as editor.

Turn right

In the New Year 1927–1928 he left the Communist Party. He started working as a journalist for the conservative newspaper Tidens Tegn as early as 1928 . From 1940 he worked for the fascist newspaper Fritt Folk . Later he also became a member of the fascist party Nasjonal Samling (NS). During the Second World War he worked as the editor of the newspaper Norsk Arbeidsliv , which was owned by Landsorganisasjonen i Norges .

In a court settlement in Norway after World War II, One was sentenced to four years in prison for treason. He died in prison in 1947.
